So I think this is some GLSL type mismatch shenigans? The website I'm using treats vec2 values as imaginary numbers, and I wrote a custom `cpow` function (imaginary ^ real)
If I pass a vec2 to the float parameter, the result I get is super bizarre. it's not |c|, real(c), or imag(c)!

Eyeballed it

I didn't save the equation for this one so I don't have a better screenshot but I thought it looked cool so here you go (purple is such a cool color tbh)

still doing this

I'm still making fractal art and there's no chance I'm stopping anytime soon, I'm pretty much in love with writing random equations and seeing the beautiful results
(I would include the equation but I'm posting from my phone.)

instead this is colored so that the point where it ends up converging to is the hue and value. Honestly that makes fractals look a lot cooler, here's the mandelbrot set as an example
all of this is being rendered on samuelj.li/complex-func... (though if someone has software to recommend, please giv)

I wish I could write LaTeX directly into the post
instead here's the LaTeX so you can render it yourself

z=\frac{\overline{z}c}{p\cdot z}-p,p=0.5+0.5i

(I suck at hashtags)

I have figured out that by writing random equations I can make art with fractals so I've been messing around with this and I'm getting some pretty cool results
