They want you to provide legal government ID to prove you're an adult, I bet you can predict how bad that can be for security. They say it's to protect children but it coincides with ongoing censorship attempts from Visa and Mastercard towards stuff like Steam. Gaming and education will be affected!

For people who don't know, YouTube and other platforms like Spotify are going to guess your age with AI based on your watch history as part of the KOSA and SCREEN Acts which restrict access to age-restricted videos if it thinks you're a teen, this includes relevant news like coverage on Gaza.
