I got Portal First Slice demo as part of my graphics card and one of the first "legal" PC game I played. And has been untouched since 2010.

- Everything about the substories. Very dragon quest-like side quest dialed up to 11. Writing better than most full games.
Memories will fade, but I will never forget the "feeling" of being immersed in 80s Japan, progression feel and passion of Kiryu and Majima.

I watched "Welcome To NHK" and "Neon Genesis Evangelion" about the same timeframe, but I thought former hit harder about depression issues, while I was weirded out by Eva.
