It’s almost like hiring an insurance lawyer with no trial experience who has never even stepped into a Federal court room to be an “Acting” US Attorney is like a bad idea or something …

Won’t this take til 2028 in NY? Times article read: “For New York’s bill to go into effect, the State Legislature would have to pass it twice, in consecutive legislative sessions, and then voters would have to approve it in a referendum. . . . [so] earliest the lines could be redrawn would be 2028.”

They’re planting the seeds … they are going to defy the courts eventually. We laugh now but this is a longer game they’re playing. Posts like Vance’s here start to normalize the idea that judges have no power so eventually they won’t.

She’s my congresswoman. She is insufferable and incompetent.

At one point in that clip after Abby Phillip calls out her lie, she says, “Ok,” essentially admitting she is a fraud. Then smiles awkwardly.

No shame.

But we’re stuck with her because the Dems basically gave up on our district.

Legislation? A slow grinding process in a congress controlled by the very opposition party supporting the coup? Are you kidding? This is your solution?

Was it ever really part of the resistance? Seems to have been part of the failure of it. Creating space for people to have shared outrage in an echo chamber leaving folks to be completely out of touch with what the real landscape was and how to change it.
