Fact is most people won't care until it affects them, that's just who we are culturally and a lot of that is by design.
Too tired from being overworked to have energy left to care, too ignorant from an underfunded education system to see how big of a deal this is.

Everything going on right now is a great example of why I'm anti-capitalism. Even if we somehow manage to regulate it(which... it's been doing the opposite literally my whole life...) how long until we're here again? It will always become deregulated because that's where the money is.

The situation in Ukraine is a great example of just how brainwashed the right wing is. 20 years ago they'd have been frothing at the mouth for any excuse to fight Russia.
