450 is fun but I would wait for the 750 launching in a few weeks. I'd love an old Transalp though. It was my dream bike when I was younger. That and the VFR750!

I'm writng an article but it's far from being ready yet. Of course, V-Strom 800 is up there but there's the Transalp and about 6 other contenders. Currently: VFR800 which, of course, is an option.

I really see that. I'm currently choosing a new bike for a 10K km tour and struggling with desire vs efficiency!

Today I was prepping something for LI. Then it turned into an LI story. Then I was like...why should I give this to LI? I didn't post it. I am now considering posting it on my own website so that I can at least prove provenance and retain ownership, despite the fact that LLMs will steal it.

As an efficiency nut, the fact that bikes are so innefficient (distance per rider, per dollar) really annoys me. But, yes, the other outputs are what keep us going.

I'm certain that we'll find early answers in the 15-20 year old group. We need to have them speaking and answering questions at conferences. Thanks for the infor. For the record my son, 15, says "my searches are 10% chatgpt, 90% google", "YouTube is over" and "Mr Beast is finished".
