The absolute least you can do is be kind to people and give your time and money. Give with your whole heart—no strings attached, no lectures—or just keep moving because so many people are in shambles and can’t take anymore. No one deserves to live this way.

Just in a constant state of spiked cortisol with a sympathetic nervous system that doesn’t shut off. Unable to relax, literally jittery and crying on my massage table, short of breath, full of fear. It’s heartbreaking.

Lately I have finished many sessions in tears from the pain radiating off clients. They’re not sleeping, they’re hungry, they’re carrying physical wounds & trauma they aren’t able to properly address.
