You can create a pipeline where you have a roster of actors "on-call" who can turn round audio within 4 hours, this is not a difficult thing to achieve.

AI is a choice and a different one could easily have been made that would keep it collaborative, ethical and in the spirit of creating art.

If you, as a studio decide you're going to use human voices, you can easily create a fast, responsive pipeline.

There are 1000s of voice actors, ready and available with broadcast quality home studios that can get you audio, fast.

This is a leadership problem, not a logistical one.

We can't ban AI. But we can regulate the hell out of it. We can make sure if they're going to use it, we know exactly how and when and why and how much. And we can make sure they can't do it without paying us an equivalent rate to just hiring humans to do the job.
