I’ve been reading about Japanese philosophy recently, and it struck me how nature teaches us everything we need to know. In wabi-sabi, we find beauty in the imperfect. In shinrin-yoku, we heal by the forest. Watching this river reminds me both—imperfect yet perfect in its rhythm.
