Glaciers are nature’s water towers. They provide freshwater to ecosystems, feeding rivers, lakes, and groundwater supplies that sustain life. Melting glaciers disrupt weather patterns, making extreme weather events more severe. They also cause sea levels to rise.

That's why glaciers matter.

Forests are HOME to 80% of all land-based species. They also clean our air, filter our water, and absorb massive amounts of carbon dioxide, helping to keep our planet livable.

Protecting forests isn’t just an environmental issue—it’s about respecting life in all its forms.

No matter how hard it gets, we have to keep pushing forward, because fighting for our planet’s survival means fighting for our own. Clean air, safe water, and a livable climate aren’t just basic needs; they’re what keep us healthy and make life possible. #together #fight

In the years ahead, as the winds of greed and destruction rage around us, we must stand together. In the words of Chief Seattle: “Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize that we cannot eat money.”

Starting this week, Minnesota is banning toxic PFAS (forever chemicals) in products like cookware, cosmetics, and carpets. These things don’t break down and are bad for our health and planet. Loving this move toward safer products!

The EPA has known about PFAS in sewer sludge fertilizer for years, but they’re still promoting it today! So not cool. When will they take this seriously?

70,000 gallons of oil spilled from Enbridge’s Line 6 pipeline in Wisconsin. With MN Line 3 aquifer breaches and the massive Kalamazoo River oil spill, this isn’t new for them. So why did Wisconsin just approve the Line 5 reroute? Have we learned nothing from past disasters?

O Canada! Quebec’s going all electric by 2035—no more gas cars or hybrids. Starting in 2034, they’re even banning the sale or ads for combustion-engine cars, including used ones from other provinces.

Bien joué! Well done!

Mark Ruffalo and many others are calling on @POTUS to act NOW on PFAS pollution before it’s too late! We should all be calling on Biden to regulate PFAS wastewater and stop polluters from poisoning our waterways and harming our health. #PFAS #HEALTH

Illegal spruce top thefts are hitting northern Minnesota hard, all for holiday décor. It’s heartbreaking to see forests getting damaged by thieves cutting trees for quick profit. Legitimate harvesters work to keep things sustainable, but these actions are just hurting the forest. #Minnesota #trees
