We had a corner room so we had views from 2 sides. Both facing the city. It was magical. The song is Journey by Brian Culbertson. This is the song I want playing when I come home to my high rise condo at night. Soft dim lights. Wine in the fridge. And this song playing over the speakers.

The hubs took me on a very special date. I’ve dreamt of living in a high rise since I was a little girl. So he reserved a room on the 65th floor of the Intercontinental hotel in DTLA. It was amazing.

Thanksgiving turned out great. Second year doing it all myself. And I nailed that turkey 2nd year in row. I’ve never had turkey anywhere as juicy and amazing as mine. I’m shocked I got it figured out. It’s not hard. Just lots of butter under the skin. And cooked covered.

Today’s sunset was pretty amazing and it had a beautiful effect on the eastern sky, with a special bonus of lenticular clouds on top of Big Bear Mountain (view from near downtown Redlands,CA ) . Literally no filter. iPhone capture with no special settings.

I messed up the temporary tattooes and this is what I could pull off with what was left. But it still worked and I felt amazing all night at the Halloween party. Happy Halloween. 🎃💀👻
