In case you got distracted - Epstein files

ch. 13 done. Here's an excerpt from ch. 6:

Beneath Sydney’s gleaming towers and its anaemic streetlights, a foreign entity had taken root within the city’s subterranean veins. The hidden labyrinth designed to carry freight, effluent, and floodwater now served a more clandestine purpose.

Starting writing ch.12. A quote from ch.4:
“Whoa!” said the voice of his rescuer, young, female, and deeply amused. “You tryna die or just testing Sydney’s emergency response time? ‘Cause I gotta say, that bus was ugly enough without you smeared across its bumper.”

Just finished chapter 10. Here's an excerpt from chapter 3:

Tall. Winged. Its eyes glowed. Two malevolent embers reflecting the fury of the blaze. Stone wings shielded its front, wrapped protectively around something hidden from view.

Not something.

Someone.

I'm writing ch. 10, so here's a passage from ch. 2

He imagined the stone speaking in a tongue older than the monastery, older than the mountains around it. Whispering words of comfort and warning tangles together like to vines. He was the boy that spoke to stone - The Stonecutter by Paul Kleynjan

All the toilets in our local cop shop have been stolen.

Word of this morning is ‘procaffeinate’: to put everything on hold until you’ve had sufficient amounts of coffee.
