I'm trying so hard not to throw up from laughing so I'm not getting true-combo'd into morning sickness jokes

Is this just gonna be a thing in my life now. sobs

me: "Come on I'm literally just laying there"

Lillian: "Yeah but like pregnancy is like one of the 3 things that people are likely to self-inform about health complications on because it's a really serious thing"

me: "SOBBING. I'M JUST A COMPUTER DORK ;~;"

me: "??? Why would I be ???"

Lillian: "I dunno. You responded so positively to my jokes and teasing about it so now whenever I see you naked I'm like half thinking about your soft pregnancy belly"

me: (manic embarassed gigglefit, face hidden in blanket)

Lillian: "So really it's not even my fault"

In fairness a lot of being online has felt like middle school in the last 5 years

I'm pretty I sure dropped like 3 or 4 followers right after. Funniest possible way to lower rent

Anyway this is it, my biggest hater mean-girl opinion. I try not to have too many of them because I need my soul to stay untainted and pure but this one I believe in wholeheartedly

More than maybe any other company out there Nintendo thinks you're a stupid loser who should give them your wallet. And whenever that stops working they tell Game Freak to put another girl in a maid dress
November 15, 2025 at 4:13 AM
The sheer level of unabashed cynicism and spite Nintendo has for its own customers is genuinely unrivalled, and really why wouldn't they, the game will sell anyway, they've perfectly tapped into the delusion of "buy the shit one so they don't kill the franchise and we maybe get another good one"

I just love how comically deep the lede is buried behind "hidden mechanic" and "greatest discovery in KH speedrunning history"
November 14, 2025 at 10:25 PM
It's so unbelievably funny. Think about all the "holy grail" speedrun tech, often discovered decades into a game's lifespan. Arbitrary Code Execution-based credits warps. Mystifying input tricks that were considered to be TAS-only.

Kingdom Hearts? After 22 years we can finally skip cutscenes! Woo!
November 14, 2025 at 10:21 PM
And the reason this is The Greatest Discovery is because Kingdom Hearts 1 has TWO AND A HALF HOURS OF CUTSCENES.

The cutscene skip turns the 5 hour speedrun into a 2.5 hour one
November 14, 2025 at 10:17 PM
The original PS2 version of KH 1 did not let you skip cutscenes, ever, and in Final Mix there was a skip only for pre-bossfight cutscenes, so this amazing discovery after 22 years is that some guy found unused debug cutscene skipping code that blacks out the screen and fast-forwards the cutscenes.
