My sense of time has been so messed up since 2016. Not a single moment in the news that isn’t utter shock. How does anyone process the stuff that’s happening when time is just see/shock/see/shock?

I haven’t had it it in me to watch the crap unfolding in front of us on the news (burnt out a bit). I mean, is it different from 2016 in any way? Or is it just part 2 of the dystopian horror film we’ve already watched?
