As a palette cleanser, I bring you Winona, who had an exhausting day.

We live in a horrific time, where malignant fools run wild and joy is hard to come by. So I wanted to introduce you to Winona, 11 weeks. She's funny, stubborn, and sweet. She makes me smile all day long. Being with her reminds me that good things still exist.

Her name is Winona, and she's 11 weeks old. She's settling in here at Chez Canine.

I keep coming back to this: the destruction is intentional. The goal is to destabilize the underpinnings of our democracy and leave human beings isolated, poor, sick, ignorant, afraid, demoralized, disappeared, or, well, dead. Corruption is now the norm and basic protections are compromised.
