The US needs to maintain our leadership position in cutting edge brain research. By understanding the brain, we will be better able to treat neurological conditions. Thus improving patient lives which will positively impact US GDP. Thus a win win. Tell congress restore NIH funding levels.
Republican or Democrat, NIH is a long-term investment in American's health and economy (for our grandparents, parents, kids). It makes America great. Cutting it risks decades of harm to our loved ones. We must protect & increase funding. Worthwhile short read by @markhisted.org
