Slight correction, it's not skill. Its more indicative that they can't find anyone wanting to spend time with them. I can't imagine they're fun company.

For a senate candidate? Absolutely not. That level of bad judgment at any point in life is disqualifying for offices that have power.
As a human? I welcome people that learn and try to change and do better. But it's gotta be through actions.

Took a creative writing course in undergrad. To get an A you just needed 50 pages of writing.
The night before it was due I holed up in the library and wrote a 40 page short story. Got my A. Wish I could find that damn story. Have a copy to my grandmother and she loved it but it's gone.

It's also extremely important for understanding the assumptions behind those facts. Many folks outside of academia don't realize assumptions are a critical component of the work that are baked in, especially in research.
