Our volunteer doctors have visited some of them and documented their physical and psychological scars of torture as well as deterioration due to the notoriously dangerous UK immigration detention conditions.

Since publication of some of our reports, there have been significant changes, in particular for children and pregnant women, and greater recognition of the damage detention does to health, especially mental health.
