'Carelessness, thoughtlessness and heartlessness of the media'!?!

Imagine if the government was that, and much more, to 10's of millions of its citizens.

I'd have thought a MAGA Mom would punish their child for such pathetic, whining, hypocrisy.

Interesting that;

Friday was a head-to-head negotiation of reality dictated by Putin in private

Whilst Monday was a board room show dictated by Trump in public

It's an odd global hierarchy we're living in

And various transfers of wealth. A rich, venal, avaricious, perverted degenerate probably racks up quite the file

Ditto

Some translations from:

KGB Training Manuals (1965- 1989). yye6Hble Marepnanbl Kr6.

Which Putin is presumably all too familiar with.

'Personal meetings also provide an opportunity to exert political .. influence on the agent and to react quickly to any negative aspects of their behavior..'

The communication has concluded now, I doubt they'll use the same methods again.

Some excerpts translated from the 'Communication with Agents' section of Putin's training manual.

I'd have thought the lack of bugs might be the best reason to talk in the beast

Maybe there is an opportunity for Europe to stand up on issues like this, if Trump and Putin alienate and threaten them
August 14, 2025 at 11:51 AM
Agreed, the idea that companies should not be regulated is heinous

Strategically I think Russia and Trump are on the side of the arctic melting. The Europeans, Chinese and almost certainly Canada are presumably taking note of the potential power shift
August 14, 2025 at 11:28 AM
There's a lot more on the table than Alaska
August 14, 2025 at 11:18 AM
Presumably The Arctic is on the table to be carved up. Possibly a new setting of America and Russia's areas of interest surrounding The Northwest Passage

I've started to wonder about the feasibility of limiting shareholdings to those that have a stake in the delivery of services.

To reclaim, redistribute and enforce ownership rights would be a colossal commitment and probably unpopular.
August 14, 2025 at 11:06 AM
Imo the private sector is more efficient, but it is definitionally efficient at extracting share holder value and the shareholders have no stake in medium-long term
August 14, 2025 at 10:58 AM
Not solely, it depends on context. I'd say that sex in common usage is used broadly to classify and define male and female reproduction, as well as hormone expression in traits like size, shape, strength, hair, etc. I'm no biologist but gametes appear part of the mechanism for human reproduction.
July 25, 2025 at 2:23 PM
I can see why you might assume that I inferred a third sex. I was attempting to state that in complex biological systems the attempt to separate, classify and narrowly define, is reductive and flawed. Parthenogenesis is not a third sex, it suggests a more complicated definition of 'sex' or 'gamete'.

I take your point, it appears in part to be my mistake. I had assumed you were using binary to mean a system made up of two possibilities, such as a binary choice or a system that can be on or off. The examples you state do appear to be made up of two discreet elements, be they stars or atoms?
