Y2K yo. It’s a wild nostalgia trip with stomach churning gore and some great punchlines. I gotta say I didn’t expect the VFX/direction which was nice. It’s appear definitely will feel like dial-up for some, but shiz was tight yo. Can we talk about how much it feels in on the joke?

I think rewatching Gladiator (2000) this week was a disservice to Gladiator 2. While it feels like a bolder, polished iteration, without Denzel carrying the film it would have felt methodical & oddly to identical to its predecessor. Joseph Quinn is delightful to hate as a tyrannical maniac though.

I got to see A Real Pain last night, Jesse Eisenberg’s 3rd feature. A tale of two at odds cousins on a pilgrimage to their late grandmother’s old home in Poland. I’d put money Kieran Culkin locking down at least 1 award this year, myb even Will Sharpe. A great laugh while crying affair, remarkable.
