That someone loudly proclaimed these views on various platforms without an ounce of shame is a PROBLEM. Trying to solve that problem with violence is wrong, but it doesn’t negate the need for a solution. Mainstreaming racism and misogyny is not “open political discourse;” it’s glorifying hatred.
