Over the last half decade my position on conspiracy theorists have gone from dismissive to openly hateful for this reason. Either they're a true believer too stupid to notice they're being had, or they're purposefully trying to open the backdoor to Nazi bullshit. I don't have patience left for them

While it's true that one half of that studios success is low effort, low budget schlock, the other half to that success (which is arguably more important) is the actual high effort work from talented creators. Good luck getting them back after going this route. It's gonna end up being another asylum
