Health workers we interviewed said: “Hospitals are where illness is treated, right. So we tend to work with this idea that health is addressed through use of health services. But experiences that me and my colleagues have had show that actually health is created at home.”

The research – a nationally representative survey – found that two thirds of health workers regularly see children with breathing problems caused or worsened by mould or damp with over 30% seeing this on a weekly basis.
