That's sadly why anything we do in tech these days - that don't have to do with curing something, I guess - will usually bite us in the *ss.

The whole thing is a conundrum of "yeah! Smart people can do smart things cause machines can do the other stuff" + people who want to get smarter can now get smarter faster too because less time-consuming things to do + why do we even need to be faster for? Oh yeah, money & destroying the planet 😭

Intentions can be bad and usually are these days because it all ends up being about making money. But it's not the machine's fault, it's ours. We're the mid-shit or the lazy-shit or the thief. But if we know how to use, optimize & engineer AI, I don't think it can be called "mid-shit".

But just because you don't have a vision or something you're curious enough about that AI can start your journey toward learning, doesn't mean it's dumb or unnecessary. Intentions matter in tech, and AI is a great way to weed out those who do with purpose & those who don't.

Don't really bother to use it for "mid-shit" because you probably didn't need it to do this "mid-shit" thing in the first place, or you would really benefit from doing it, failing at it, learning from your mistakes & mastering it. It's only mid-shit because you don't care or need it. Which is fair.

It's my understanding & use of AI that leads me to say this, but to me, it's a great assistant to experts in most fields or activities they could do in their sleep or when you need to bypass a step that's out of your scope but a necessary step to this entire project you're on.
