Technically late 2024, but I so regret this not being included last year. The "unspoken" part is RIDICULOUS. www.nytimes.com/2024/11/11/w...

Excellent recent article by Julian Lucas in @newyorker.com if you want to be inspired and depressed at the same time
Tim Berners-Lee Invented the World Wide Web. Now He Wants to Save It
In 1989, Sir Tim revolutionized the online world. Today, in the era of misinformation, addictive algorithms, and extractive monopolies, he thinks he can do it again.

I learned about the Boo Hag from the excellent video game South of Midnight! Beautiful, folklore inspired game. Highly recommend!

9 October is a very important date for me because I will finally get to visit the P&C shop in person!

Do it! I started hosting Halloween for friends 10 years ago. You gotta invite like 50 people and 14 will show up but you will have an awesome time and everyone will thank you for hosting.

You need someone from St. Louis on hand. We all grow up imprinting on the Five St. Louis Jesuits catalog.

I still talk constantly about the Weekend America episode Scaring the Kids - and how gratifying it was to know that I was not the only one scarred by Large Marge forever...

It's a real thing! I get nightmares easily and I have to warn friends before movies that if a horror film trailer happens they will be sitting next to a cowering 46-year old adult with their eyes squeezed shut and fingers in their ears and and they have to tell me when it's over.
