It's hard to be optimistic these days. I feel like we're on the Titanic, about to hit the iceberg, being told everything is fine and nothing bad will happen by the rich already taking up all the life boats.

It's kinda wild to think that if the 7 year console cycle continues, there will still be new games being released on the PS4 the same year the PS6 releases.

Just rolled credits on Metroid Prime 4. Hell of a game. Maybe more Zelda-ish then one would expect (very Ocarina of Time coded), but still Metroid enough. Curious to see where we go next. Need to do Hard Mode at some point. But for now back to Xenoblade Chronicles X.

I can't believe I finished The Perfect Run in Super Mario Galaxy 2 in about 13 tries after not trying it again since 2010. That level took hours then to beat then. I have apparently gotten a lot better at 3D Mario in the 15 years.

Oh good, item balance is WAY better in Sonic Racing CrossWorlds open test than it was in the closed one. Some items might still be a bit too strong, but skill and boost build via drift matters way more.

Today was the single worst day of my career. I was forced to watch 105 of my fellow testers get laid off, one by one, with no indication if I was next or if the massacre was over.
I may still have a job, but I am furious and heartbroken at this lack of humanity displayed in the name of profit.
