probably the largest custom I've built, definitely takes up more than its share of shelf space. the waist and legs were really fun to figure out. the weapon arms felt like i was never going to get there but finally came out pretty good looking on this frame i think.

large, heavyweight custom 3-legged #30MM mech. the mech is down on one knee, as if to let the pilot climb up somehow. instead of arms, the shoulders each carry a set of 2 long guns. mounted on the back is a sturdy frame holding 6 staggered missile pods, arrayed like stadium lights. this side angle gives a clearer view of the leg structure, where the 3rd leg is used kind of like a tail on a kangaroo, to balance and steady it during combat, instead of doing much for mobility.

rebuild of a custom space-type portanova. Bailon Experiment PTN-S 02. very happy about the driderlike silhouette, but i'd like to redo the legs with more parts.

would add weapons but it's *incredibly* fragile, flops all over at the slightest move. i'll tighten the joints eventually. #30mm #gunpla
large white-grey-black 30MM Portanova custom mech model. it has big engines for shoulders with large white winglike structures (scooped from a gundam) splayed out, and unnaturally long arms with big creepy hands. it has six legs, each ending in a single long spike or claw, with the front two much larger, giving it the appearance of spider legs. it has a monoeye.

idk why but i always thought of this build as rabbit-like. so i called it the Bailon Experiment: Portanova Conejo. i guess it would be very springy and quick on its feet, and have giant mechanical fists, like the noble coney.

custom mech model. combination of alto + portanova parts and option parts. the mech is dark and light grey and white and navy and sand. it works though, i think. the mech has many boosters including on a large backpack, and its only weapons are oversized mechanical fists worn as forearm attachments this is only a slightly different angle of the same mech, maybe showing better detail on the slightly asymmetrical leg armor and on the shape of the mechanical fists

i gotta glue the weak parts of this goofy guy together and paint him. silent hill ass mech. built-from-farm-equipment ass mech. what is the lever for? yes you have to manually turn it to start the engine. no it does not have any guns. no it cannot move fast. why do you ask.

janky lookin mech. custom gunpla with Lfrith Thorn arms and legs on a 30MM motorcycle core. it's got thicc thigh chicken legs, it's got orangutan arms. it's in a barely poseable permanent hunch, huge monoeye built into the core. on its back is mounted a giant engine, the size again of the core itself. in its hands, two massive blades drag on the ground.

the heavy tetrapod, original form. actually i miss this build, it hasn't looked as satisfying with any of my recent tinkering. it felt too prototypical at the time and was unstable, but nothing else has really worked out in the way this build could go into siege mode.

heavy tetrapod mech in 1/144 scale. based on tan baskyrotto, but with custom everything aside from the core + head. thickly armored front legs are splayed in a low stance, small tarsal feet planted. back legs are crouched together like springs. from its huge shoulders, small arms grip a giant railgun, barrel extending out of frame past the camera. it has a red monoeye and carries 4 large missile launchers on its back. the mech is posed on a green cutting mat on a brown leather couch. alternate shot of this mech. the upper arms can be more clearly seen here, a slightly janky custom construction which is limited in flexibility, but presents the right silhouette from all angles, which is to say compact just-functional arms huddled in the shelter of large perhaps very large armored compartments, maybe fuel for the boosters attached. those familiar recognize the shoulder armor as Revernova foot parts, which actually are a bit difficult to connect so seamlessly with arms custom or otherwise due to their large flat surface seeming out of place when carelessly attached to a less broad body part.

this was a good claw arm. could crush a whole alto. didn't find a good build for it though.
tan/brown custom 30MM mech (baskyrotto based). importantly, the right arm is an oversized appendage with a small core for a shoulder and ending in a very long claw.

first time painting minis. these are the 2 from the beginner box although i couldn't help going off-book a bit
2 battletech md/lg minis painted. one steel blue with a broad near-white stripe down most of the right side, gunmetal gun barrels, gold faceplate. the other light brown, with tan accents, and gunmetal gun barrels.

Gangly custom plastic model mech in 1/144 scale built from 30 Minutes Missions parts. Wide tan core and domelike head. satyr's legs in lavender. bulky weapon arms like flamethrowers or microwave guns. lavender appendages raised above the head from the backpack, not with any certain function or meaning, but granting a fey appearance. they're probably sensory arrays. a second monoeye glows from low on an armored projection from the core. the background of the image is smooth brown leather.

Is it overgrown in spite of this legal compliance? Was Code Z1.24 a failed attempt to keep war machinery untangled with living greenery? No, perhaps it represents an optimistic future, where humanity cannot quit the industrialization of war but some environmentalists have taken root in the machinery of violence, they have passed legal codes that mandate construction techniques which encourage hardy pioneer plants to live in and on the war machine itself, letting it operate in harmony with some remnant of nature.

Baskyrotto Aberrant. collects and repurposes the limbs of fallen allies & enemies, for armor and ammo storage.
plastic model mech on a light brown leather couch. it's a custom #30MM build, a Brown Baskyrotto base with excessive weapon attachments and for no apparent reason extra forearms attached to the shoulders. it holds a pistol in each hand with 2 more, larger pistols holstered on its,,,codpiece. twin rifles are attached behind each wrist on the side and "compact" grenade launchers are slung under each arm from the elbow. it has a fuel backpack with industrial fans on top i guess. as a Baskyrotto it's wide, blocky, heavy, and a bit extra armor is attached to the legs and chest same mech, higher angle shot. you can see now it actually has even more dangling hands than you thought, an additional pair mounted on the fuel backpack. these extra arms are actually concerted into ammo storage actually, there is a reason for them.

Screenshot of a custom emblem from Armored Core VI. It's a portrait of a white short-hair cat's head. She bleps. The emblem is detailed with shading, ragged fur (true to life), black-patterned orange collar, huge fuzz-tipped ears (true to life). Next to it are the words "All Cats Are Beautiful" wrapped into 4 lines. The text is colored according to the trans pride flag, such that "All" is blue with a pink stripe at the bottom, and "Cats" is pink on top and white on bottom, while "Are" is about the reverse, and "Beautiful" is blue with touches of pink at the top. I just realized I must have misaligned the colors.

red-framed bipedal mech model, 1/72 scale. it has white and dark maroon armor accents. its chest bears a large white protrusion, circular, with a dark grey vernier centered: it is as a giant eyeball. the mech has a bulky backpack with thrusters, a plasma shotgun (blurred, pointed at camera), and a colossal armored pile lance instead of a right hand. it has a monoeye, obviously. the style of parts is somewhat blocky but with a odd, alien influence. the base kit is a 30MM Espossito Gamma and it stands on a green cutting mat. this angle displays the pile lance weapon more fully. it is armored and larger than the mech's core. the mech has a wide stance, looking to its side, with the pile lance pointed upward and to the side, as if dueling another melee mech. a zoomed out shot of the same stance as before. the length of the pile lance can be seen as greater than the height of the mech, probably.
