How does one go about getting into voice acting/voice over work? Is there a demand for deep/rough voiced people?

For a long time I've been wanting to write a book. I used to write a lot when I was in middle/high school, and kind of fell off when I started doing adult things. Any recommendations for a good writing software. Looking for something that is easy to separate out chapters/sections, and organize.

So a while back there was news of Netflix developing a series based on the "Old Man's War" books. Has there been any more mention of it?

Also, I get off work in about an hour, working on the road in a small town in Michigan. Where should I go for dinner tonight? All suggestions welcome. Specific place or just general category works as well.
