A musician, but not that one.
I'd like to agree with you here. But people have to hear that argument, unfortunately. And who is going to present it to them?

I'm not sure that going after your political enemies is an official duty as President of the United States

I'd say more Horst Wessel
September 22, 2025 at 12:23 AM
Glad to see others using the Horst Wessel comparison. Trump tried to do it with Ashley Babbitt first but it didn't really stick. This is his second attempt.

Ohio was a Union state. Grant and Sherman were officers from Ohio.

I'm not anti AI like many here, but I don't see how AI is relevant for this use case. A standard program without AI would handle any computerized requirements, while any requirements requiring in-person activities would still require travel.

I think this should be protected as political satire.

I don't know... There are plenty of foods that do well in delivery. Fries are the classic example of something that degrades a lot in delivery. Most other things are good to go or can be modified easily (dressing on the side, etc.)

Not only are you embarrassingly bad at debating for a supposed university professor, you apparently don't know how to operate a computer either, given that I am still unblocked.

Your post is a perfect example how anything less than full throated support for recently transitioned trans women playing sports against other women is "trans people are gross". And pointing out that there's an Iranian proxy in Gaza that's also problematic is "no criticism of Israel allowed".
July 25, 2025 at 6:21 AM
Maybe if by "the rest of the world" you mean "Western Europe", then sure. But that's irrelevant anyway because we're talking about US politics. Do you often insert yourself in other countries' political discussions and try to correct their terminology based on foreign norms?
July 25, 2025 at 1:11 AM
This is precisely the idea that I'm pushing back on. Centerism does not only exist as a compromise between other political beliefs. Centrists aren't centrists just because they want to be in the center. Rather, their truly held beliefs happen to put them somewhere in the US's political middle

Maybe the person shouting at others to "shut the fuck up and sit down" when they are voicing a political viewpoint that explicitly does not infringe on your rights at all is the one who should, in fact, shut the fuck up and sit down.
July 24, 2025 at 6:06 PM
Centrism doesn't have to be a "compromise". People can actually have strong and coherent political views that exist somewhere towards the middle of the political spectrum.
July 24, 2025 at 5:48 PM
A centrist party, by definition, goes after people towards the center of the political spectrum, not the extremes. The KKK is very obviously not the center and so the meme is disingenuous.

We really are doomed, because I just read every single reply, and not a single person actually correctly understands the situation. OpenAI isn't the company that produces deepfakes. There are already companies that prevent fraud by detecting deepfakes and OpenAI is actually pretty late to the game.

Seems like a pretty good reason, actually.

They normalized the lie that Jan 6th indictment was a political hit job, and so this is the logical conclusion. His followers refuse to accept that the things that he does are actually illegal, and they therefore view this as an appropriate response to "Dems going after Trump".

That's actually the one of the smallest trucks available. The real tell here is that it is lifted and has giant, widely spaced tires.

Laos has the highest concentration of unexploded munitions in the world. It's a huge problem there, and they or the Cambodians are exactly the people you'd want to talk to if you had this problem.

"Why do people decorate their houses? Do they really just sit around and look at their furniture all day long?"

One of the most frustrating parts of Bluesky. So many people hype the block-happy culture, but it just creates some of the weirdest echo chambers you'll ever see.

It's important to be accurate. Some Medicaid dollars definitely do go to non-citizen immigrants in the form of Emergency Medicaid. It is only around 1% of Medicaid spending, however.

Less than 1% of Total Medicaid Spending Goes to Emergency Care for Noncitizen Immigrants
Despite claims that immigrants are accessing and draining public benefits, less than 1% of Medicaid’s budget is spent on hospital emergency care for noncitizen immigrants.
