why did price have no problem bending rules when it came to past choices, but decided to stick to the book when it came to makarov? surely he knew he wouldn't be in the gulag for long. he knew it wasn't safe to let his men go into certain missions alone. where tf was he during alone and prisonbreak

even at the price (lol) of his relationship with ghost. there are lots of little subtle things said in mw2 + mw3 (2022-23) that hint towards ghost's doubt towards price's actions/reliability. honestly, you could argue that soap's death was partially due to price's decision.

i think about priceghost every day and it truly is so important to me. i think its important to explore unconventional relationships in media/unhealthy relationships (obviously exploring it in an appropriate manner). price is not a perfect "good" man. he's a man willing to bend the rules.

ultimately i think soap is ghost's real love. soap is open and honest and a great listener--even if ghost doesnt talk much. soap understands, he doesn't judge. he's patient and kind. truly ghoap is so sweet. priceghost means a lot to me too just because of how it established simon's past.

price is two faced. i think he doesn't know how to be anything but a soldier. he doesn't have time for relationships, maybe a few flings here and there. his mind is always on the mission. it was just price and ghost in the past, but simon feels rather betrayed at the way price suddenly dropped him

price was the first person he had true intimacy with, it was a long process and price was patient. he let ghost go at his own pace, and eventually ghost could find enjoyment in intimacy. i think his first (proper) kiss was with price. he trusts the captain so so so incredibly much.

despite price and ghost's somewhat falling out, ghost will always love price in his own odd twisted way. and price will always love ghost in the only way price can love. they need each other. even now, when ghost is having meltdowns or bad nights, he goes to price for support.

i think ghost slowly started to understand his own value (or at least the importance of keeping himself stable, medication, therapy, coping techniques, etc). price is a very closed book about his emotions. ghost practically knows nothing about him. soap wears his heart on his sleeve. he's /real/

price promised ghost "forever", late night talks after they made love. price would treat ghost like something precious, something that deserved love. i think both of them knew they'd never have a conventional relationship, and men like them in their position couldnt "love" like other people

in my head, ghost really saw a future with price even if they were both in the service. i think once 141 did form, price became more cold/distant. price is particularly fond of ghost though he loves all his men. ghost felt betrayed and hurt and still holds that grudge against price.
