I feel people collectively forget yakuza's history of transphobia. Especially michiru in y3, or hell the "truth of a beauty" which is in kiwami, or the hostess that localization turned into a terf. I really wish the games were more progressive

A lot of people think Yakuza is epic progressive but it can flip flop. 1 has transphobia where you beat up a girl but Kiryu's pro trans in 2 but 3 has both pro trans & transphobic substories but in Kiwami there's a transphobic part where you fight a girl that didn't happen in OG
