My phase was Mid-1990s VCE Modern History with an odd but enthusiastic teacher at a CBC who used great war movies as teaching aides.

Michael, only comment I’d make is that the dominant market for soybeans appears to have swung to oil now as a result of those mandates, SBM looking for a home…

We are still on for a TISM top-three lockout…

The following is a technical point, and, of course, also a massive generalisation.

I don’t think ‘science’ has moved to the left, I think the right has abandoned science and reason. If the data and its knowledge don’t fit with your worldview you can either change your view, or reject the data.

The biggest side-effect is having to buy new clothes…

I feel pretty rough (mild nausea and general bleurgh) starting about 15 hours after the weekly injection, that lasts about 24 hours.

But I’ll put up with that for the massive health benefit - 21.1% weight loss in 6 mths.

The issue with small producers is continuity of supply, abattoirs only cover their costs when they are operating, efficiently, at capacity. Many suppliers, with different stock types, market weights, etc… all adds to inefficiency and thus cost. Service kill fees then need to reflect that.

There are very few mobile abattoirs in Australia - I know of only Proviner and Red8Produce. There are a lot of mobile butchers. The former allows commercial sale, the latter direct consumption only.

It also sounds like it would be an extraordinary number but if you calculate it through (BOTE) it is only 300 g/d of consumption. So could be a different 12% of the US going out for a steak each day…

26.4 kg annual per capita consumption. 340.1M pop. That 12% - 110.3 kg per capita consumption.

Easiest way of making net targets is through accountancy, but that doesn’t achieve what the planet needs which is real emission reductions.

There’s a mint lavender scented variety. They’ve actually missed out here, if they went with sheep tallow they could have gone with a mint gravy scent…

I would have workshopped the whole “Net zero economy” thing a bit more…
