I like to use big words to sound clever.
I only listen to The Mountain Goats.

Big fan of English Literature, not so much a fan of the current state of democracy.
Kier Starmer's most fearsome opponent.

That'd definitely make sense but I think it's at least somewhat likely that the leadership would block him since him running is a clear leadership challenge to Starmer. I honestly think McSweeney and Starmer's team care more about appeasing the donors than being reelected

Even if they could, they wouldn't. If Burnham gets a parliament seat it would likely be in a Manchester by-election which would be caused by a Manchester MP stepping down so he could run, but honestly I think it's likely that the leadership would forcefully deselect him like left wingers in 2024

I unironically drank a full cup of water right after reading it that's so weird

Polanski has infinitely more charisma and principles than any labour drone and these people literally don't know how to respond. So suddenly he's "surface level" and just a "stereotype" as if their party leader was anything than an empty sack of badly-executed vibes and platitudes

Better a walking left liberal stereotype than a briefcase politician.

It's pretty pathetic that a "labour" account will dismiss genuinely progressive policy that strengthens labour rights as "telling left liberals what they want to hear". Have they considered that the left might just be right?

What's even the point anyway? I swear the AI that's being rammed into everything always makes any product worse than it was before. AI just doesn't work well. Is it an ego thing from people with far too much money? Is it some bizarre conspiracy to rot our brains? My faith in humanity is sliding away

They should've definitely joined the greens instead of creating a new party, especially now that Polanski's in charge. It seems that quite a lot of the momentum behind YP has gone after the recent infighting and a lot of people have joined the greens around the same time.

I'm not really a fan of Corbyn's new venture but I think it's worth mentioning that in both elections he wasn't just against the tories; he had the media and the other half of his party actively trying to make Labour lose the election. I do agree that his party probably can't get a majority though.

Please please PLEASE learn how to read. If you can accept that Israel's actions are genocidal then I'm sure it can't be that hard to also accept that innocent people being killed outside a place of worship solely for their religious beliefs stems from the same bigoted thinking.
