We went foraging for apples along the river path and picked two carrier bags of what we believe is Cox Orange + another kind of apple we didn't recognize. Now, for making apple sauce and apple pie!

I just finished ALL THE MURMURING BONES by A.G. Slatter, which despite it's name was not a necromancer novel, more a mix between fairy tale and gothic fantasy with steampunk elements. The very mix of elements obscured the plotline and felt unsatisfactory, as if the author drew them from a hat.
