Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir - adult sci fi/fantasy. Honestly if you haven’t heard about gtn literally what rock are you living under but it’s a romantic, sad, complex fantasy. Also not as fun and lighthearted as the blurb would have you believe (I found out the hard way).
