When two of the guys in my Sunday DnD game casually marvel at the probability of a certain roll coming up, I often think ‘yeah, I never knew that math.’ And marvel that it takes all kinds. Conversely, I’m slowly teaching them a lot of new words. Lol. Engineers.

My high school principal using that term resulted in a spoof of My Fair Lady for Senior Night, with one of our most talented actresses asking in a shocked voice: ‘Yew bin lewkin at my boomers?’

Childcare for conferences and certain other grant situations ( for NEH) had just been approved in cfr200 changes right before all this started happening. Progress was being made there …. sigh.

I once got "too much reading" in a Myths and Fairytales class. We were reading *Cinderella*. (admittedly, in several versions, but still...)

Could also bring in Chemistry profs for guest lectures about ink and pigment testing for forgery identification, or material science to think about machine made paper vs hand-made...
