A great opportunity to reach the third round of the FA Cup.
Painful to drop two points at the death, but it's now four games unbeaten, and this important away point keeps us out of the bottom two, despite wins for Crawley and Newport. In fact, it moves us up a place above Accrington. We're still moving in the right direction.

The 31 year-old can play at wing-back, in central defence and in midfield, and has spent the vast majority of his career playing in either the Championship or League One. Could be a great addition!

I'd like to see Will Boyle keep the captain's armband. After a couple of early jitters, it was another solid defensive display all round, with Luca Hoole and Sam Stubbs also deserving special praise. Keeper Will Brook too has shown confidence and composure in back to back clean sheets. 👍

Not enough to claw us out of the bottom two, but a clean sheet and a much-needed point on the road is perhaps something to hang on to ahead of back to back home games, where our first league win at the Meadow under Appleton is surely essential to keep his job.

A hugely frustrating performance against a lacklustre home side. We showed little to no attacking threat, and when two of our three key defenders limped off the writing was on the wall. It feels like we're running out of options and ideas.
