I might be up for the Snoopy walk providing the start time isn't too early - I'm not a morning person. Then again, I'd want to do the entire walk (no tubes or buses) and enjoy and photograph the exhibits and look at them in great detail. You'd probably get bored and I wouldn't blame you.

Most of South London has Wheelie bins so it's slim pickings. Plenty of rodents though - my 15 year old cat still brings them in occasionally.

At least it looks healthy. Many urban foxes are anything but and are often limping due to road collisions. They will dash across the road at night.

Including one of my customers. He's a Newcastle supporting exile who hails from Gateshead. He watches Gateshead when they're playing in and around London.

I'm at football most Saturdays but I'm at a loose end next weekend due to us being dumped out of the FA Cup by a team two leagues below.

My first London art tour since the amazing book benches in 2013 (I think).
November 28, 2025 at 11:03 PM
Cheers for that. We've not got a match next week.
November 28, 2025 at 9:28 PM
Indeed. I thought about heading to your gaff tomorrow but I nearly always bring you bad luck.

The current Prem is highly amusing and I say that as a L1 supporter whose team has suddenly gone to shit. I find myself caring about Palace and Fulham, both local to me. Chelsea can get to fuck.

Plenty. I look forward to the blog. Don't expect Kai Jennings to remain there for long. We're in the shit and need him back. He's yours for £250k
November 23, 2025 at 1:20 AM
Thoroughly enjoyable as always. Pleased to learn that as a paid subscriber I have the option of commenting. I'll admit, I have Sam on mute because I'd rather hear than read her musings.
November 20, 2025 at 12:09 AM
Nice. I was following as we didn't play and you have two of our players on loan. How did Jennings and Foyo do?
November 15, 2025 at 5:03 PM
Bragging rights on the podcast this week. I don't listen to Wimbledon related podcasts when we lose so yours takes centre stage although NTT20's Championship section might be worth a listen.
October 26, 2025 at 10:40 PM
What dis you think of Kai Jennings? I saw that he scored.

There is so much to unpack from this podcast. I don't have a vocation but I do have a customer service ethic so working for Sainsbury's is perfect for me. I have the advantage of not having a mortgage due to the bank of mum and dad.

AFC Wimbledon. I lived near Plough Lane for many years. I've supported them through thick, thin and reforming.
September 24, 2025 at 12:04 PM
That is horrific. Then again your ex won't be deported because she's white. This is all about deporting folk of a different colour skin ie blatant racism.
September 22, 2025 at 10:20 PM
Oh, and Dorking Wanderers.
September 20, 2025 at 10:12 PM
When we were complete and utter dog shit, I sacked off Plough Lane and ticked off some new grounds. H&Y was one although I'd done Church Road a couple of times. I also did local grounds Raynes Park Vale and Cor-Cas when you were there, apparently. Also did Woodbridge Town the day we beat MK at home.

I've lived in Mitcham for 21 years. Before that I lived 20 minutes from the old Plough Lane and 15 minutes from our current ground. Tooting and Mitcham by any stretch of the imagination can't be part of Surrey although the Morden Hall park is rather lovely.

In the meantime, I'm off to Reading via a 60+ Oyster and a senior Railcard. Sadly too young for a concession ticket but L1 football for £26 isn't bad.
August 15, 2025 at 9:57 PM
Having read the article, AFC Croydon Athletic isn't far away either. Nearest tram stop is Therapia Lane.
August 15, 2025 at 8:43 AM
My closest club. Half a mile as the crow flies. Easy journey for you. Train to East Croydon then a tram to Mitcham. Five minutes walk from there.
