just a couple weeks ago, i was on my front porch and heard a weird thud from the small patch of grass nearby; a hawk had dive bombed a pigeon and had a quick meal before flying off.

it happened so quick, i didn't get a picture. :(

should this not be general maintenance that the city knows about and prepares for every year? too much funds into the "night mayor" to pay for this? what's goin' on?
