And they need help. No one wants to drown. Diminish. Fade.
Check on others. Check yourself. Locate your tethers. Identify your safe harbor, make sure it's close. Make efforts to become a tether and make patrols for those who are at risk of being lost. (5/6)

This overtly joyful season has a unique ability to inflame loss, loneliness, and sadness. Poignancy. If you haven't prepared for the onslaught you're likely to get swept overboard and drown. Some people have nothing more than a mere raft or plank to try and stay afloat upon. (4/6)

Why struggle when you could just let it take you away like a balloon rapidly shrinking in the ever expansive sky, helpless to resist its own insignificance?
Why? I have four very good reasons (very good tethers) not to succumb to the oppressive weight, but I'm a lucky one. (3/6)

Other days I don't care if the tumultuous ferocity of the tempest sends me off into oblivion. I have tethers within arms reach but the effort it takes to reach out seems Herculean and arduous. (2/6)
