I keep this infographic handy when I counter the types arguing USSR or Xi’s China is model socialism.

Common unfortunately in leftist spaces. When you point out they use bigoted insults against their enemies you’re accused of being the enemy. It’s a real shame.

This is Isla at age 8.

She died at age 18 with severe ME/CFS.

Isla’s mum, who took care of Isla and tried to protect her from abusive medical professionals has been arrested. The state and medical system are trying to blame her for a death resulting from neglect and harmful medical practice.

Psychiatry has been stuck in an inversion-of-causation fallacy for a century.

Today: “You’re sick because you’re inactive.”
1932: “You’re gay because you’re neurotic.”

Maybe… people are inactive because they’re sick? “Neurotic” because they’re persecuted?

I mean calling a study that is literally used across universities as an example of how NOT to conduct RCTs, is pretty baffling.

It’s almost as if these people will say everything that confirms their biases is a well done study and anything that doesn’t is a poorly done study.

Labels out of date but the UK seems very much stuck in this cycle.

Absolutely gutting news. Another person with ME/CFS died of starvation after being refused tube feeding.

The NHS was warned about this months ago, after Maeve’s inquest. And nothing was done to improve the situation.

The scariest part is that the cases we know of are only the tip of the iceberg.

The irony of our inability to protest is we are painted as ruthless militants by our biggest oppressors.

(Yes, bedridden militants who have to rest a couple days after taking a shower).

But calling people you don’t agree with “militants” or “activists” helps make you sound better, I guess.

I have been sick with Long COVID for 3 years.
Bedridden for nearly two years.
Unable to have a conversation for 1.5 years.

Long COVID is devastating, and it doesn’t always get better with time.
