Watched some of Jake Tapper’s “United States of Scandal” episode on the John Edwards-Rielle Hunter affair and the resulting love child. What an innocent time it was in 2008 — when a sex scandal could bring down a presidential candidate.

As we dread the arrival of a Trump autocracy, it’s easy to forget the incredible job that President Biden has done. I would go so far as to say that Joe’s been the most significant president in my lifetime. (But he should have called in sick on debate night.)
