We already pay that tax - any organization that gives health insurance pays a massive and unequal amount to offer health insurance to their full time employees, and health insurers can’t get voted out when they fail to adequately control costs.

I think we knew that in 2010, but unfortunately the insurance lobbyists won out in the formation of the ACA because of “socialism”
