For no particular reason, The Magicians is about a clinically depressed dude finally finding out magic is real, just like in his favourite book, and he goes to magic school, but then finds out his favourite book's author is like, an unbelievably shitty person.

I think I mostly just stared at the cover. I might even still have the manual somewhere. Also, core memory unlocked of KH2's PS2 disc having the beautiful art, but the manual had a 3D render. This might have been a PAL region thing, but I always found it weird.

I miss how the old Ratchet and Clank games did achievements, they were like little rewards for trying something silly or out of the box. The skill point on Kerwan for landing on the statue is great, it's a fun conversation between player and designer.

I only like 1/3 agree with you here. Since the vast majority of your battles are in the wild and is contextualized as you, in universe, being protected by your Pokemon, it's only dogfighting against other trainers.
The other disagreement is that some pokemon do not have cute faces, like Nosepass

The series gets dark for sure, and as a Berserk fan, Absolute Wonder Woman was drawn and written specifically for me, but at the same time...

The plot of Sonic Adventure 2 makes way more sense when you realise Shadow was initially actually supposed to look like Sonic but his (much better) final design won out over "Sonic but like a muted blue with a scar"
