Judge Luttig is correct about what Mousse Olini intends.

"With his every word and deed, Trump has given Americans reason to believe that he will seek a third term, in defiance of the Constitution. It seems abundantly clear that he will hold on to the office at any cost, including America’s ruin."

"Kimmel’s refusal to capitulate stands out because so many other well-situated people have surrendered, withdrawn, or become Trump sycophants themselves. One by one American leaders supposedly committed to principles of free speech, due process, democracy, and equality have abandoned those ideals."

I recommend the recent Frontline on Mousse Olini’s abuse of power. A good chronicle of the precarious state of our constitutional order. One thing I noticed while watching, though, is that even through the TV screen you can smell Bannon’s BO.

Every day on my mind:
"What in Gods name has happened to the Jewish community, that we can sit idly by and watch a minority population being targeted in this way: dehumanized, lied about, harassed, arrested, and shipped off to “facilities” around the country? Do we not see the obvious similarities?"
Have we become the 'ordinary Germans' now?
How can American Jews stand by while thousands of innocent people are illegally arrested, imprisoned and tortured?

The ONLY surprise is that the shitshow lasted this long (I predicted the romance would end in March). They should be placed in adjacent padded cells, with a small open window between them, and spend the rest of their disreputable lives berating each other. That would be justice.

We must rally around institutions willing to pay a price for standing up to the rising fascism and the onslaught against the values we have strived to enshrine since the enlightenment. There is no longer time for trying to dance between the rain drops. Unified resistance is the only way through.
