long time no post! tldr, health things wooo 🙃

anyway! I've been working on #artfight refs and these are some of my thumbnails!!

been doing some style studies lately! this week has primarily been disney/pixar to get me to loosen up and add some life into my art and im really noticing how expressive some of my lines are getting

a style study by M.2 Designs (me) of Giulia Marcovaldo from Pixar's Luca (2021) done in coloured pencil on sketchbook paper. colours used are a yellow for primary sketch, soft orange for the body of the work and burgundy for detailing. Giulia is stood with hand on hip, holding a large, dead fish as she works at her father's Pescatoria. Giulia wears a beanie hat that barely holds in her wads of curls, a striped cap sleeve tshirt and very oversized, patched up jeans. This was a very quick, expressive study done in about 5 minutes, primarily focusing on getting Nick Wilde's energy down on paper as efficiently as possible.
