I assume price and space they take up are two main reasons, (also if you're a new fan it makes sense to only collect them in best available format) ,the classic dvd's took up 3 shelves for me, I'm buying standard edition blu ray and they will easily fit on one shelf

I'm bearing the end of a complete rewatch and as much as I'm enjoying rtd2 it does feel very regressive after what has come inbetween rtd1

Yeah, I do feel as we're jumping into a completely new story, set up and characters that the story needs longer than 45 minutes most of the time

She is a good actress so sure she can be an excellent Doctor, this old fan is looking forward to what's next (even though I would have liked more of Ncuti's Doctor)
