Things have been very busy lately but when one of my favorite pattern designers (Vasile and Pavel) released this earlier this month, I HAD to make it and it had to happen before Halloween. So all my spare time has gone into him. Isn't he adorable? Just a couple finishing touches left. #leatherwork

Yeah, that strategy got me through Fellowship but I ran out of patience somewhere in the middle of Towers. My boxed set looked a bit like this but reversed.

I'm hoping someone might be able to give me info on a family heirloom teapot. I was told it came to the US from Scotland with my family (in the early 1900s I think). The shape doesn't look quite like any of the Brown Betty pictures I'm finding online. It is fire damaged and I'm hoping to restore it.

Watercolor is kind of my nemesis but Andrea Nelson on YouTube reminds me they can be fun too. Beetles on the left page are from one of her tutorials and on the right is me attempting to figure out how to make a gentle ocean wave effect without the patience to learn proper techniques. #sketchbook
