You already lost when you let Schumer cave, and fooling yourself if you think this empty vote is going to generate any leverage.

Also, the fact that Californians will vote Dem because the GOP needs to be stopped will not save you from a primary against a Democrat that will actually FIGHT FOR US.

You need to call out the California Republican Reps that are continuing to support this admin’s refusal to give Californians what we deserve.

Call those Republican traitors out by name so we can remember in 2026!

Why aren’t you publicly supporting Mark Kelley and the other Dems that discussed the military’s oath?
November 25, 2025 at 4:16 PM
If caving was the best outcome, then:

What was the point to shutting down?

Why pretend as tho you’ll fight it the end?

The best rationale for caving is sunk cost fallacy, and even then, Schumer needs to step down for a new leader. IMO Dems will regain credibility if he does.
November 13, 2025 at 2:23 AM
Why aren’t you acting to replace Schumer?

Do you think it’s OK that Schumer let your Dem colleagues approve a $1mm MAGA/GOP kickback to the senators who were lawfully investigated as part of the Jan 6 prosecution???

As imp as it is for Dems to unite, you need to remove Schumer.
November 12, 2025 at 10:18 PM
Either you demand Schumer step down, or you need to resign and make way for a Dem leader that will FIGHT for us.

That is the ONLY way we can go forward from this betrayal.
November 12, 2025 at 6:50 AM
You need to demand that Schumer step down.

His fecklessness has cost the Dems all credibility and betrayed our support.

You need to do this. Yesterday.
November 12, 2025 at 6:47 AM
Maybe you should replace Schumer with a leader that won’t CAVE on opposing the MAGAs next time. 🤷‍♂️

In my lifetime we reached an apex in 2006 for employment and purchasing power (wage:costs/inflation), and overall, after a recovery while Obama was president, it has been trending down since. Tech and quality of life was also good in 2006, too.
November 11, 2025 at 3:58 AM
Wittes made a good contrary argument that “folding is the right play” when “pain exceeds whatever marginal benefit the policymaker thinks he or she can extract by extending it.”

Mass cancelled flights could have been that tipping point. Challenge to pin that on GOP and not generally the shut down.
November 10, 2025 at 11:58 PM
It’s clear that we need to protect California’s interests first going forward.

We cannot continue to bleed ourselves dry with federal taxes that primarily go to benefit states who vote to block funding to California.

It’s time for you to fight for a state trust for California federal taxes.
November 10, 2025 at 7:59 PM
Does it matter? You and your colleagues let him off the hook.

We need you to call out Schumer and any Dems that secretly supported the Dem CAVE now.
November 10, 2025 at 5:16 PM
Purchasing power is more than the 80s, yes. But no one is talking about the 80s.. most of us weren’t adults in the 80s.

For me and my group, we compare to pre-2008 recession, and purchasing power feels decreased since then, and data shows it’s decreased since then.
November 10, 2025 at 5:09 PM
This is on you if Dems cave. What is the point of voting for you and donating money to you?
November 9, 2025 at 8:53 PM
If you guys cave without an ACA extension I will vote for whoever primaries you. You need force your Dem colleagues to FIGHT!
November 9, 2025 at 8:17 PM
That was powerful. Well said, Governor.
November 9, 2025 at 7:02 PM
Next up: Federal taxes. We need a California state trust fund that can withhold taxes if the federal government does not allocate California’s fair share.

We cannot trust out-of-state Republicans to act in good faith ever again and need to be proactive to gain leverage.

I was thinking something creative like this. Depending on what happens with Prop 50, maybe a proposition for 2026 ballot:

Can you research legal bases for California to withhold citizens’ federal tax payments based on the federal government arbitrarily punishing California citizens by using their tax money to solely benefit Republican states?
October 22, 2025 at 12:04 AM
It’s too soon. IMO your commentary was a bit close to right wing critics - right now we need positive vibes, connection & support.

If theorists and hardcore protesters can’t see the value in 7 million people that never protested before taking to the street, then they need to leave their bubble. 🤷‍♂️🇺🇸

I see your point but I think accuracy matters, especially an issue like this where according to polls, a large majority of ppl in Cal probably support trans generally but are specifically against the CIF identification-based, non-hormonal standards. 🤷‍♂️
September 20, 2025 at 6:36 PM
Watch a girls’ HS soccer game and see if you can honestly say it’s not a contact sport.

HS soccer has the highest rate of injury of any girls’ sport, and the highest rate of ACL tears for any girls or boys’ sport.

Harris is from Cal, and she is probably speaking to CIF stds.
September 20, 2025 at 6:31 PM
That’s not true. CIF (Cal State HS) has no hormone/testosterone std.

CIF *requires* HS to allow kids to compete with whatever gender they identify as.

The majority of ppl in Cali that support trans but do not want trans in girls sports for IMO valid reasons. o/c some are psycho anti-trans.
