The prompt for this tile called for a floating string. So, I added a couple more of the floating strings to this tile, creating negative space above a big Marasu. #mdgrim_czt #zentangle #artyear

Tried something different - this is on a piece of cardboard cut from the top of a carry-out box. Not the best surface, probably won't do that again. The tangle is Hamadox and I used black ink, graphite, and white chalk pastel. #mdgrim_czt #zentangle #artyear #hamadox

So this is a larger tile, it is 5"x5", called a 5x Phive tile by the Zentangle folks. I usually tangle on a 3.5"x3.5" tile. Same paper. This tile has Seedwayz, Foundabout, Schoggi, Henna Drum 2, and one I made up. #mdgrim_czt #zentangle #artyear

I was just noodling about with my new tangle Hentuck and I saw Schoggi by Annett Rumpler in another prompt. So after a couple of tries, I thought it would be cool on a tan tile with both black and brown ink, and both black and white shading. #mdgrim_czt #zentangle #artyear

One of my favorite horticultural phenomenon is when, as a result of transpiration, moisture gathers on the edge of leaves in little droplets. The plants look bejeweled. This tile unintentionally feels inspired by that phenomenon. With Flux, Printemps, and Diva Dance. #mdgrim_czt #artyear #zentangle
